Location! Location! Location! The hotel is literally walking distance from the train station of Firenze (Santa Maria Novella) around 800 m and about 10-15 minutes walk from the main square. There are some amazing restaurants very close to the hotel. We were craving for some Indian food and got lucky to discover a restaurant Aromas of India, just 7-9 minutes away walking. The hotel is about 10-12 minutes walk from Piazzale Montelungo, which is one of the main areas where tourist bus tours start. The stay was super comfortable and both Antonio and Mohammed guided us on how to reach, and check in ourselves. While they do not have 24*7 reception but were kind to share a contact number for emergency. The room was just the right size for the two of us, squeaky clean washroom, clean towels and also had a tiny window on top for fresh air. They were also gracious to let us keep our luggage after the check out and collect it in the evening and Mohammed offered us cookies and coffee till the time for our next train after the check out too. The pantry had delicious cakes, jams, cookies and coffee that one could help themselves throughout the day. Would 10/10 recommend anyone to stay in this property who is looking to explore the city of Florence.

The structure is perfectly located, few min walking from the train station and about 10 min from most points of interest in Florence. It is a nice old traditional building but very well kept through the years. The stairs are easy to climb and for those bringing big suitcases maybe you should wonder yourself if Italy and Florence are destinations for you. Because we stayed 4 nights and booked breakfast as well, we got an upgrade to a bigger room Cristoforo, thanks for that. Be aware all guests have access to breakfast which is 24/7 provided in the common kitchen area (some Italian sweets, coffee, tea, juice, milk). Staff was very friendly, special thanks to Mohamed who welcomed us and gave us good tips for what to visit, where to eat, make shopping. What we initially thought is a disadvantage (breakfast) turned into an advantage. We could have breakfasted any time, serve a coffee whenever we wanted, have a tea in the evening with some sweets because it is available 24/7 in the kitchen. There is somebody at reception everyday from 9am to 7pm. Check-in time is flexible, and we could leave our luggage there few hours after check-out. You can get your room cleaned as well if staying more nights.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I was personally greeted by the owner, who was not only incredibly hospitable but also full of helpful local tips and information—such a thoughtful touch that instantly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property, tastefully designed and full of charm. My room was spacious and serene, with a lovely balcony that offered a tranquil view—perfect for a quiet moment of relaxation. I also appreciated how peaceful the entire property was, making it easy to unwind. The full kitchen in the room was a huge plus, especially for longer stays, and the security features—multiple doors and locks—gave me an added sense of comfort throughout my stay. This place strikes a perfect balance between comfort, beauty, and a personal touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, secure, and welcoming home base.

I rarely, of ever, leave a review, but feel so strongly about our experience at this hotel, I just couldn't let the opportunity pass to do so. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming, accommodating, friendly, eager to make us comfortable in every way, group of people including the owner and staff. The hotel is very clean, quiet, walking distance to all attractions, great restaurants, and very convenient to the train station. There is a washer and dryer available, which we used, a full kitchen, also available for use, including a very nice continental breakfast. Both Antonio and Fatima are passionate about their city and possess a wealth of information on where to go, eat, tours available, etc that made it easy to fit everything we wanted to do and see into a short 4 day visit. Do not hesitate to stay here. You will not be disappointed!

Really lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Also provided us with a bottle of bubbly as I was celebrating my birthday Breakfast is a cold continental style breakfast but are available 24 hours a day. Excellent location, the hotel also provided us with discount vouchers for two lovely restaurant one being outside the hotel. To fond the hotel you need to refer to the street number as the sign is quite small and it looks a front door The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the train and tram stop, so easy to get to from the airport. We took the bus outside the airport terminal and the tram, very easy and took less than an hour with minimal walk and about €10 If I ever come back to Florence I would stay here. Lovely rustic Italian charm, just perfect
